The other than real news today….today is

DAY 90 of The InCrapid Reporter Files, 2020 edition. Our daily missives to the masses (well maybe a couple hundred folks) have uploaded over 2000 tracks, all free & downloadable…countless tids & bits, webthingy info, humor, serious dialogue, fun sites. Hopefully fun.

It is with a sad smile we announce this missive will be the Last One for a while….need time to go fishing or something…

So today we’re gonna leave a huge dump…………………of music…but first, mirth…

We at T.I.R.F. LOVE the FIRESIGN THEATRE…laughs galore, insane weird streams of thinking…absurdist humor… We found this little “egg” a while back…Dig it…

Two separate comedy albums, one year apart in the making. 1970, “Don’t Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers”……Side 1, A phone call, in which “George Leroy Tirebiter” tries to order a pizza to be delivered…we don’t hear the other side of the call…he fails to get the order placed…one year earlier on 1969’s “How Can You Be in Two Places at Once When You're Not Anywhere at All”…Side 1, radio play “Nick Danger, Third Eye”, answers a ringing phone, someone tries to order a pizza without anchovies….NICK states “he’s not your man…”. take a listen…

We’re still in FIRESIGN’S madcapworld…two albums, 1970’s, “Don’t Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers” ends with an ice cream truck driving by, complete with bells tinkling…jump to 1971’s “I Think We're All Bozos On This Bus” it starts with an ice cream truck driving by….bells tinkling…naturally we joined them together with the NICK DANGER Phone call….you’re welcome.

By the by….the title of the “…Dwarf…” album is a coded message…Dwarf= end of the Joint or Roach…Crush= stub out on ash tray. Pliers= a Roach clip, maybe alligator clip. So “Don’t Crush that Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers”, turns into “Don’t stub that roach, hand me the clip”……”I’ll finish it”.
